Mission
ArtRemains
is an interactive and innovative space supporting the arts by providing emerging and established contemporary world artists with free online exhibition galleries.
Practical
: Citizens can exhibit original artworks of a wide range of mediums and styles. Accepted mediums are video art, audio art, flash art, sculpture as well as traditional mediums. Genres range from environmental art to installation art to cultural art and our recommendations feature allows for wide dissemination and exposure of artwork. In addition to galleries, citizens also receive html enabled blogs and gain access to dynamic art forums. These multiple venues of interaction allow for numerous opportunities for feedback and critique.
Conceptual
: This virtual installation is a participatory experiment that allows artists, scholars and activists to explore the possibilities of online democratic communities. Our communities combine to form a frontier virtual country founded on promoting creative culture and fostering dialogue on relevant topics. Virtual reality blurs the distinction between public and private spaces, a blurring which alters how freedom of expression relates to freedom from expression. Technological innovations in mass information dissemination emphasize the significance and responsibility of art as social action in increasing awareness in order to affect positive change.
Conceptual and practical, ArtRemains is a creative virtual frontier – exploration encouraged...

Uluru (or Ayer's Rock ) is a giant monolith at the geographical centre of Australia. It is one of our icons (painted by many) and if it were my decision it would be an image on the national flag. It is an aboriginal sacred site and if you were see it when the sun rises you would understand why... The colours, by the way, are real!

Eleven handmade paper sculptures cast from the artist’s own body during pregnancy, explores the interplay between human biology and society. Central to this work is the image/concept of male pregnancy. Amorós creates a provocative body of work that pushes the envelope of conventional perceptions of human biology. In a world where men and women’s roles are consistently evolving the artist addresses the physical lines between genders creating a new human form that is both male and female.
